Stay In & Sling

In response to everyone being stuck at home during the coronavirus pandemic, Sling is providing free live streaming content. According to the announcement the Stay In & Sling service is available for a limited time (presumably until things calm down). The service provides live streaming news from Fox and ABC as well as “thousands of shows and movies for the whole family, with no paid SLING TV account required.”

You don’t even need to create an account or sign in.

Sling execs also note that: “With many Americans finding themselves staying at home, we have an opportunity to use our platform to help them deal with this rapidly evolving situation.”

To start watching the free content head to the Sling TV website and scroll down to the “Stay In & Sling” section and click on the Watch now button. You can also watch the free service on Roku, Fire TV, Sling TV mobile app, or the desktop via your browser.

Users who are subscribed to the service will also benefit as Sling is offering some free preview channels. They include Fox Movie Channel, Nat Geo Wild, and the Hallmark Channel until April 17th.

Sling TV is the best budget service for Cord Cutters with packages starting at $25. Although now the company is offering it’s Blue or Orange package for $20 for the first month or both for $30.

Hopefully, we see more services offer a similar limited live service as it helps keep you informed but also entertained to help relieve cabin fever.
