How To Fix IE 7 lockups

Problem:

Closing the Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 browser or a Tab in IE7 will freeze the browser for 5-10 seconds.

Fix:

Windows LIVE Toolbar is the issue. When enabled with IE7, you will run into lockups when closing the browser or TABS in the browser.

1. Open IE7 Browser
2. Click Tools
3. Click Toolbars
4. Uncheck Live Toolbar
5. FIXED!

Note:

Obviously, if the Windows Live Toolbar is not installed, you will not have this problem with Internet Explorer 7.
